Born in Wales to Italian parents, Yolanda Zappaterra's wanderlust was inevitable, despite (or maybe because of) the annual hair-raising childhood car trips across the Italian Alps. She now lives in east London, with frequent breaks to Spain, Italy and um, Norfolk, and writes books and articles about travel, architecture, food and the arts, as befits her Italian heritage. Creating dumb cereal faces for her Instagram account, taking long urban walks, going to the movies, puzzling over conceptual art shows and watching good television is also a passion (that last one's clearly not related to her Italian heritage).
