Travel expert and former Editor-in-Chief of hugely influential inflight destination magazine Let's Go with Ryanair, Ramsay Short gets around. He is a contributing writer for Condé Nast Traveler US, the founding editor of Time Out Beirut, author of The Hedonist’s Guide to Beirut, and has had his work published in The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, the Financial Times magazine, BA High Life, and New York Magazine, among many others. Currently based out of London, Ramsay starred with Anthony Bourdain as his guide on three episodes of his No Reservations and Parts Unknown programmes for the Travel Channel and CNN. Ramsay is a travel consultant for the Gerson Lehrman Group, and publishes the online travel journal, Hike To The Moon. He is also creative director and editor-in-chief of The Sounder, an arts journal for Beirut independent bookstore Papercup. When he’s not writing, you can find him mixing funk, disco and soul at vinyl parties across the globe as part of DJ crew, the Beirut Groove Collective.
