Unless your garage is home to a pack of beagles you may not know Ramsbury, a teeny town in the Wessex Downs thats main draw is its proximity to pheasant-ridden fields. Accordingly a stay at The Bell will likely mean some interactions with Landrover owners who can tell you not only about their country exploits but about the history of this quaint corner, its burgeoning local produce scene (locally distilled vodka and/or cured venison, for starters) and what to order from an award-winning menu of expertly made gastropub staples. Rooms are homely but undoubtedly luxe, all rolltop baths and marshmallowy pillows.
The BellA gastropub-with-rooms that's so loveably British it could star in a Richard Curtis romcom
