On a street with a lot of character and plenty of independent shops, Warp & Weft is the stand-out establishment. Past the inventive window display are two floors of clothes, jewellery and accessories (for men and women). Pieces are designed or sourced by owner Leida. Many of the sleek trinkets and leather goods come from Tangier. Subtle colours and natural fabrics (cotton, silk, linen, wool) are a constant theme, but designs change with the seasons. Garments are made in very small runs, so there’s little chance of seeing someone else wearing the same outfit, but clothes can also be made to order.
