Curve GardenLush garden, for plants, pizza, and peace and quiet
Credit: Curve Garden
Since 2010, the Curve has been a popular green oasis in one of London’s most densely populated areas.
Free to everyone, the garden was created on an old railway, and is filled with trees, bee-friendly plants, and raised beds where locals can grow food.
There’s a wood-fired pizza oven, and a small café serving coffee and cake, beers and lollies. The kids’ area has a stage where performances are held on subjects like climate change, and there are regular music events, as well as mindfulness, and Tai-Chi classes.
Open 12 months of the year daily until 7pm (11pm Thursday to Sunday). Dogs on leads are also welcome. We love it.
