Vercorin may be a small place but this restaurant is a major reason to visit. Dishes centre on local, seasonal produce and include perfectly prepared steaks, fish and beef tartare – the house speciality – as well as game meat during hunting season each autumn, presented in the classic Swiss way with chestnuts, berries and spätzli. Desserts are equally delicious – especially a dark chocolate fondant with white chocolate ice cream – and wine is offered by the glass. It’s all pretty reasonably priced too.
