A short walk from the fabulous StrangebutCool, Malaika is a light and airy two-storey café/restaurant, with a shabby chic-meets-contemporary interior, outdoor tables, and a sloping wooden ‘ladder-wall’ where you can sit and enjoy a drink. The reasonably priced menu covers Asian and European dishes – from nasi goreng to lasagne – made with super-fresh, organic ingredients and plenty of vegan, sugar-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free products. A range of healthy juices are all handmade and, if you don’t fancy the dried seaweed jelly cakes to finish, the key lime pie is unmissable. Malaika is open until 10pm.
