Loaf is a classy café, and is the perfect fit for Sandgate, a smart little seaside town on the Kent coast. Staff are warm and efficient, and whizz about the place with lunch platters, doorstep sandwiches and attractive homemade cakes. The food is a cut above regular café fare, and the coffee is worth ordering. Big picture windows let in plenty of light to the premises: two rooms filled with sofas and mismatched tables and chairs. Dogs and children are made welcome.
