It’s hard to believe that this grand, Great Gatsby-esque building was once a garage. Built in 1889, it also housed a café, theatre and dye factory before becoming one of Barcelona’s most beautiful eateries. With four gourmet restaurants under one domed roof, diners can choose from a steakhouse, a tapas bar, a café and an oyster bar, or just perch by the long central bar with a glass of cava and a plate of charcuterie. Whatever culinary experience you go for (and they’re all excellent), the glitzy, vintage vibe of this historical space will certainly enchant. Even the mirrored bathrooms are something special.
