Elaine’s on Franklin is a great example of the finest cuisine being prepared from the best local producers. With an ever-changing menu to match the season, the food on offer may vary, but the quality and style remain; as does an exceptional selection of accompanying wines. The local oyster and flounder dishes (baked and seared respectively) were excellent, as was the vegetarian option – an organic green salad and huevos rancheros. For dessert, you can't do better than the chocolate cake and peanut butter ice cream; it's irresistible. Every course should be savoured as you relax and enjoy the overall ambience and attentive service.
