In a city where it’s hard to get away from pasta and pizza, this place is a welcome antidote. Tucked away in a quiet square near the Strada Nova, it’s a tiny place serving freshly made organic vegetarian and vegan dishes prepared on site by the friendly couple who run it. The enticing menu includes pumpkin flowers stuffed with ricotta and courgette, curry and quinoa falafel with tzatziki, and baked aubergine parmigiano. Everything is beautifully presented, and there’s a decent list of organic wines, craft beer and herbal teas. There are only a couple of tables inside, so come on a dry day when you can sit in the peaceful square instead.
