To call this bar hidden is a massive understatement. Located in the less frequented backstreets of Shinjuku, up an undisclosed stairway is where you’ll find the intimate and moody Bar Toilet. Inside this long, thin bar you’ll discover a (supposedly) fully functioning bathtub in the far corner, a mural-sized Ryan McGinley print next to the bar and two large pianos opposite. With all this, it doesn’t leave much room for the punters, who visit to check out the regularly hosted live music shows, but that’s all part of its cosy charm.
Bar ToiletDespite its name, this is a surprisingly classy late night hangout
