A microbrewery with 'a laissez-faire approach to brewing', Brieux Carré is an intimate craft beer destination for brewing enthusiasts. The folks behind Brieux Carré never distribute their creations, so this is the only place in the world where you can taste these beers. With taps that rotate nearly every week, witty names (try the Mom Jeans triple IPA or the My Tart Will Go On raspberry sour) and flavours to match (once upon a time there was a delicious coconut chocolate stout – honestly), this is a hidden gem. There's only one, tiny bar and a few extra seats that are available for service in the middle of the distillery, but there's a beer garden, and carry-outs are always an option. Grab one for the road as you continue your walk down Frenchmen Street – you're in New Orleans after all!
