On entering downtown, it's very hard to miss Top of the Hill as it dominates the skyline at the central intersection. When you wind your way up to the third floor, you're greeted by the sights, smells and sounds of a working microbrewery. Homemade beer, vodka, whiskey and gin are all on offer, plus there is a good selection of accompanying appetizers – including the intriguingly named ‘lizard chips’ and ‘thumbs and toes’ which we naturally had to try. If you fancy something more substantial, the entrées include hearty fare such as whiskey and coke-braised beef. Definitely worth a visit when you're in town.
