This is not an obvious stop-off in this beautiful and fascinating city, but if you have a nose for the quirky and different, it is highly recommended. Contained within a 15th-century building, the Pharmacy Museum represents five floors of exquisitely preserved history with its eyebrow-raising medical devices, recreations of old apothecary shops, bizarre medical illustrations, and rooms scented with dried herbs. It’s an intriguing insight into shifting attitudes to Polish life across the centuries. A stylish and alternative way to fill a couple of hours.
